Soo Police Serve Trespass Notice of Drug Party Tent

following public backlash to Drug Injection Tent

SAULT STE MARIE, ONTARIO  ~~~~~~  May 21, 2021  (LSN)  As a result of the Community Backlash, the Drug Injection, Tent the Sault Police issued a Notice to the organizer of the injection tent that they shall not occupy City property without authorization and must immediately stop using City property for the purposes of an injection site.

TENANT ESCAPES NOON HOUR KITCHEN FIRE

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~~  May 21, 2021  (LSN)  At approximately 11:45am today, the tenant of a Brown St. residential occupancy was able to self- evacuate from the home after a grease fire in the kitchen got out of control. The lone male occupant called 911. TBFR Pumper 4 of Fire Station 4 (located on James St) was able to arrive on the scene within 3 minutes of receipt of the alarm.

MARATHON, ONTARIO  ~~~~~~  May 20, 2021  (LSN)  Hardworking OPP officers spotted a blue Chevy Cruise on Tuesday May 18,2021 around 3:15 pm travelling westbound on Highway 17, Township of White River, at a very high rate of speed.

OPP say a traffic stop was initiated west of White River, however, the vehicle did not stop and accelerated westbound on Highway 17.

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~~~  May 2021  (LSN)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers were busy last night, Wednesday May 19,2021 busting drug dealers.

At 7:10 pm TBPS executed a search warrant at KATRINA MITAS’ apartment located at 228 Wilson Street. Upon entry to the building, five black males exited Apartment 4 and broke into Apartment 5 to flush drugs.

They are seeking a 38 year old male they believe to be the driver of a vehicle which collided with Fitness 4 Life, 11605 8 St. in the community of 13,115 people 403 kilometres north of Prince George. on April 5, 2021 at approximately 9:53pm.
