NETNEWSLEDGER PHOTOGRAPHER RELEASED ON $500 NO DEPOSIT SUPERVISED BAIL AFTER LATEST ALLEGED DRUG BINGE.

Local NetNewsLedger photographer 26 year old KATERI PERREAULT AKA KAY PERREAULT was released from jail on Tuesday January 8,2019 after being there since New Year’s Day.

Her mother, NETNEWSLEDGER reporter AMANDA PERREAULT is there in the courtroom. But she won’t report this event.

KATERI PERREAULT is released on a supervised bail program by the John Howard Society. She must reside in a hotel room on North Cumberland Street, not possess any drugs and be amenable to all rules of the John Howard Rules of Residency.

KATERI PERREAULT is facing several criminal allegations from various dates.

On June 2,2017 the TBPS were called to a location regarding an unwanted person. TBPS officers find KATERI PERREAULT. There are 2 bags of crack cocaine on her possession along with a burnt spoon. She was charged and released. The laboratory analysis on the substance has come back positive for crack cocaine.

On August 11,2017 KATERI PERREAULT allegedly failed to appear in court. A bench warrant was issued for her arrest.

On September 19,2017 the TBPS are called again to another location regarding an unwanted person. Police locate KATERI PERREAULT and arrest her on outstanding warrant for failure to attend court and breach of bail condition. PERREAULT is eventually released again.

On December 31,2018 the TBPS are called to McIvor Court in Thunder Bay regarding an unwanted person under the influence of heroin and alcohol. Police find KATERI PERREAULT again and she is arrested for breaching her bail conditions again.

KATERI PERREAULT BECOMES THE VERY FIRST PERSON TO MAKE A COURT APPEARANCE IN 2019.

She was held in custody for a week.

PERREAULT has now reached the top of the bail ladder. Any further allegations of breach will most likely result in her being held in custody.

Her brother Levi has no further court appearances and is done with his criminal convictions for now. Same goes for her mother Amanda. The NetNewsLedger boss James Murray HINTER has also avoided further criminal convictions since his gun convictions.

The next court appearance for KATERI PERREAULT is Friday February 1,2019 at 9:30am in Courtroom 105.
